I just got my new laptop with Win7. I have spent a bit of time loading in the programs I want from Stardock, Logon being one of them. I am now having issues with loading/applying any of the logons. I have hit apply and nothing happens. I still have the original logon that comes with the puter. Does anyone have any troubleshoots for me to try to see how I can get this to work? Yes, I am back again. Had some puter issues, life issues, just issues...lol. Work and kids put a damper on a lot of my puter time. Work made me tired, and kids (one in particular) that just made my desktop run so slow, that the site took forever to load. Once she went home to Momma (she stayed with me as guardian to graduate from high school), I took a very deep look into my system, and found a lot of crap had been downloaded. It now runs better, but is now a stand by for me, since I just got my new laptop.

 

I have missed everyone here. I know I have a lot of catch up to do, so fill me in, but slowly, please, since my brain seems to have slowed down as well.

 

And, would anyone know why I can't rate anything? Am I still an apprentice, or has that been revoked since I fell off the radar?

I know I haven't been online to very much. Having teenagers in the place isn't helping. And then there is the fact that I have been hanging out with real live people more often. I am not going to go into work...that is just a foul four letter word to me....lol.

 

So, this is why I haven't been in much lately. Haven't done anything creative, because everytime I try, I have a teen (and a girl one at that) jabbering away in my ear. Don't get me wrong, I love her, but I would like to be able to work in peace. Yeesh! LOL

 

Anyway, missed everyone. Found an interesting post in my site page, and am still trying to figure out what the heck happened in my absence and not sure if I want to.

When it comes to my works. Not sure what I am missing when it comes to my walls, but my stars are getting smaller. A three, I can live with, it means that the public gets to see what I have created. But lately, the have been 2 1/2 or lower, and only seen on my personal page. I am asking you, the community, to please take a gander, and critique my work. I take constructive criticism  very well. I want to be the best I can be, but without imput, I am at a loss....Here is my site. Thanks for your time.

This is not an issue. I just wanted to give kudo's to the WC And Stardock teams. Whatever you are doing with the site, keep it up. I just uploaded a screenshot, using the site link, and low and behold, it worked. Not only did it work, but it did it well. I like the box that comes up now, telling you of the progress, instead of me, watching my browser saying that it is connecting, or waiting for the site. Great improvement guys, thank you very much.

Btw....when do we get our smilies back? I miss them *pout*

I am just getting back into skinning, and retrying Logon Studio. I know it is freeware, but, is it going to be updated for the creating side? There are sections that I would like to make transparent, but I'm not allowed to, since it requires color. (i.e. user account, background color). Just curious as to where it is going.

At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but it turns out that I'm not. I am trying to update my avatar and screenshot images in my settings. I plug in the correct path, upload, get the upload successful, and yet nothing changes. The images are the same, as if I didn't upload new ones. Anyone got an idea of what could be going on? Is it me, or is there a glitch somewhere, and no one has caught on to it, because we are too set in our ways, and just don't change our avatars and such(mine has been the same for I don't know how many years [e digicons];P[/e] ).

Hi people. I haven't been around much ,even though I do like this site. Been hanging around a couple of other sites that are helping me with my technique, so that some day I will be able to submit my work here.!!! I really should be here more though, for there are many of you that I can learn from just by observing your art work. I have a goal... and having a piece accepted here is the bomb for me!
